Prismacolor pencils.
We're having a reflections contest at school and the theme is "my favorite place..." This is my submission! My favorite place is with the animals. Haha. (You can submit writing, drawings, photography, etc..many things.) I got permission to use all the reference photos for this piece! I used Oh Those Tiger Eyes, a lovely photo by =Justaminute, as a reference for the eyes. (Thank you!  )I used Lion 13 as a reference for the nose and mane and Jaguar for the forehead spots and ear; both by the extremely talented *Art-Photo. (Thank you too!  )Go check out their amazing galleries! I took the reference photo for the zebra stripes above the eye. I made up everything else. (There are feathers, cheetah spots, then giraffe spots on the cheek.) My favorite part is the left eye! (Left to us.) EDIT: I placed fourth in the district!  I also placed somewhere in state too! (Not sure what place..) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
